Nonprofit Housing and Family Shelter - NoMa

$26 million mixed use project in the NOMA neighborhood of Washington, DC including 30 apartment domestic violence victim and family shelter units and 16,800 square feet of nonprofit office space.

 

The project provides emergency temporary housing units in a transit-accessible location for low-income individuals and families; 700 low-income individuals and families are expected to receive emergency shelter annually; 3,300 low-income families are receiving counseling and advocacy services annually. Financing includes $5.5 million in District of Columbia grants and $17.2 million in senior debt. Building Partnerships is development consultant.
