The project involved a 30,000 sq.ft. addition to the existing Middle and High school facilities for this progressive school in the Van Ness neighborhood of Washington, DC. The new building included black box theater, science labs, classrooms and rooftop recreation area. Ernie Marcus acted as head of the building committee and finance committee. Financing included a DC bond and a $10 million capital campaign.
